About the tea
How should I store my Teawah loose leaf tea to keep it fresh?
Keep your tea in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Store the pouch in an airtight container after opening for extended freshness.
What is the shelf life of Teawah teas?
Our loose leaf teas stay fresh for up to 12-18 months if stored properly. We recommend finishing your pack within 6-8 months for the best aroma and taste.
What is the difference between Black Tea, Milk Tea and Fannings?
Black tea is whole or long leaf, strong-bodied with complex flavours - best enjoyed plain or with lemon. Milk tea is a finer grade or blend meant to hold up to milk and sugar. Fannings are small broken leaves, CTC style, perfect for a quick strong brew and the usual choice for chai.
What sizes are your tea packs available in?
Every Teawah tea comes in 100g, 250g and 500g food-grade resealable pouches.
Can I customise my tea blend?
Not yet. The quiz matches you to the blend in our range that fits your answers, and the range covers everything from bold to mellow.
Where do you deliver?
We ship across India. International shipping is coming.
Where is Teawah based?
We are based in West Bengal, and our teas are sourced through the Kolkata Tea Auction - the hub of the premium tea trade.
Ordering and payment
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, and cash on delivery.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. The site runs over 256-bit SSL and payments are handled by a PCI DSS Level 1 gateway. Your card details never touch teawah.in and we never see or store them.
Can I use a coupon code?
Yes. There is a coupon box on the checkout page - enter the code there and the discount applies to your order total before you pay.
What happens if my payment fails?
Nothing is charged and your basket is kept. You will be returned to the checkout where you can try again or pick a different payment method. If money left your account but no order appeared, email us and we will trace it.
How do I order on WhatsApp?

Delivery and returns
How long does delivery take?
Orders are packed within 48 hours. Delivery time after that depends on your address.
Is shipping free?
Shipping is free on orders over the free-shipping threshold shown in your basket. Below that a flat charge applies.
What is your return policy?
Tell us within 7 days of delivery if something is wrong - wrong item, damaged pouch, or a broken seal - and we will replace it or refund you. Because tea is a food product we cannot take back a pouch that has been opened unless there is a fault with it.
How do I return an item?
Email us with your order number and a photo of the problem and we will arrange the pickup or replacement.
Who pays for the return shipping?
We do, when the fault is ours - a wrong, damaged or faulty item. If you have simply changed your mind, the return postage is yours.
Can I exchange an item?
Yes, for an unopened pouch within 7 days. Get in touch and we will swap it for another blend of the same value.
